HART – The Hart girls basketball team preserved their perfect WMC-Rivers record with an 85-4 rout over Hesperia on Thursday.
The Pirates led 30-4 after the first quarter and 54-4 by halftime.
Reese Smith led the way for the Pirates with 15 points, three steals and two rebounds. Breslyn Porter had 13 points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals, while Addi Hovey added 12 points, six rebounds and a steal.
Leah Walker chipped in 12 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals. Kelsey Copenhaver had eight points, nine rebounds and four steals. Sarah Kranz, a foreign exchange student and first-year player, contributed eight points, four rebounds, and two steals.
Hart (8-1, 5-0) visits Montague on Tuesday.
Hesperia (0-7, 0-5) will travel to Blanchard Montabella on Tuesday.
