MUSKEGON – The Montague wrestling team swept a meet at Orchard View on Wednesday.
The Wildcats cruised by Mason County Central 60-24, and then defeated host Orchard View 59-21.
“It was a great total team effort tonight,” Montague coach Kristoffer Maddox said. “We still have improvements to make, but we are competing well as a team.”
Zaniya Meza, Tony Garcia, Alex Breed, Tobey Heykoop, Kaiden Jeffery, Fletcher Thommen, Isaac French and Maverick Osborne went 2-0.
Montague (9-4 overall, 2-0 WMC-Lakes) travels to Ludington on Wednesday, January 15.
