Spring Lake girls capture lopsided victory over Grant in non-league basketball matchup

GRANT – The Spring Lake girls basketball team cruised by Grant, 50-20, in a non-conference game on Wednesday night.

The Lakers outrebounded the Tigers, 22-7.

Tessa Britt led the Lakers with 11 points, five rebounds and a steal in just 10 minutes of play. Kloe George scored 10 points, while Ellie Wrona added nine points and three steals.

Spring Lake (5-2, 1-0) travels to Zeeland East on Friday for OK-Black action.

Grant (2-5, 1-1) is at home on Friday for CSAA-Red play against Reed City.
