SIDNEY, Mi. – The Muskegon Community College Lady Jayhawks turned in a consistent and intense effort on Wednesday and routed host Montcalm Community College, 82-53.
Early pressure by the Lady Jayhawks produced instant dividends and a 31-10 lead after one quarter and 49-17 at the half.
MCC forced plenty of turnovers and steals that resulted in fast-break points.
Tyvi Davis led the Lady Jayhawks with 26 points. Anna Lundquist added 16 points and Arrionna Williams had 10. Gaby Reeve and Molli Schultz each scored eight points.
MCC (18-4, 8-1) hosts Bay College at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bartels-Rode Gymnasium and Montcalm Community College on Monday.
The Lady Jayhawks have won four straight games.
