NORTON SHORES – The Mona Shores boys basketball team dominated in a 61-36 OK-Green game against Jenison on Tuesday evening.
The Sailors set the tone early with a 40-17 lead at halftime and never looked back.
Jordan Bledsoe poured in 18 points and made five assists, while Jonathan Pittman scored 14 points. Milo Barangan chipped in 10 points, while Ryan Opsommer added four points, four steals and four assists.
“Opsommer was the unsung hero for us tonight,” said Mona Shores coach Louis Murray. “His toughness and defensive effort set the tone, and our guys fed off that energy. It was a great team win.”
Mona Shores (9-11, 5-3) visits Muskegon for conference play on Friday.
