Newaygo gets big help from Kerr in win over Tri-County

Blake Kerr had the hot hand Newaygo needed in its 78-69 win over Howard City Tri-County on Friday. 

Kerr finished with a game-high 28 points as Newaygo used an early run to hold the lead from start to finish. 

Hunter Yearsovich tallied 17 points in the win for the Lions. Eathan Rayburn added 15 points and Isaiah Miedema chipped in 11 points. 

Newaygo next heads to Orchard View on Tuesday.
