Reeths-Puffer graduate Chris Anderson scored eight points, pulled down three rebounds and had three steals in the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs’ 71-66 victory over Florida State on Tuesday night in the first round of the men’s National Invitational Tournament.
The Bulldogs (27-6) will take on the winner of Wednesday night’s game between No. 1-seeded Southern Mississippi and No. 8 Charleston Southern.
Anderson, a junior, made 3-of-6 shots and both his free throws. He played 21 minutes.
Raheem Appleby led Louisiana Tech with 27 points.
