Zeeland East jumped out to early leads in all three sets before the Sailors would mount comebacks that would just fall short.  Zeeland sophmore Sophie Riemersma proved to be nearly unstoppable, as she was able to hit around Sailor defenders with power and precision the entire match.

Mona Shores was led by senior libero Kennedy Potts, who totaled 23 digs, four assists, and an ace.  Grace Hellman added 11 kills and Madison Dunn seven kills, and four blocks.

Mona Shores record drops to 19-11 overall and 3-1 in the conference.   The Sailors visit Grand Rapids Union on Thursday.
