Muskegon Heights standout quarterback and Ball State wide receiver Willie Snead IV is showing signs of life at the Cleveland Browns training camp.

The quarterback-turned wide receiver has made quite a few receptions and has been been taking reps with the Brown’s No. 1 quarterback, Brian Hoyer.

Snead is trying to make the cut after he went undrafted but was picked up in May by Cleveland as an undrafted free agent.

Despite having veteran receivers in front of him, Snead is getting quite a few balls thrown his way. Veteran receiver Nate Burleson brought up Snead earlier this week as someone to watch.

The 5-foot-11 Snead finished his career at Ball State with 2,991 total yards receiving and ranks third among all Cardinal receivers. He was only the second player to have two 1,000 yard receiving seasons and ranks fourth with 223 career receptions. Snead currently holds the record for the most 100-plus yard games at 13.
