Jenny Beckman’s 22-point performance propelled the Shelby girls basketball team over Fremont 47-39 in a non-league game on Monday night.
Beckman also had four assists on the night for the Tigers, while Tori Mussell led Shelby with 17 rebounds and Jaelyn Love contributed with nine rebounds.
The Tigers jumped out to an 11-5 lead after the first quarter and led 20-18 at halftime before pulling away in the second half.
The Packers were led by Bre Harris with 17 points while Natalie Jamieson chipped in with eight.
