The West Michigan Lake Hawks fought off a pesky Detroit team to hold on to a 116-114 win at home on Saturday night. 

Marquis Brewer tallied a game-high 29 points with seven assists and five steals for the Lake Hawks who led 95-84 going into the fourth quarter.

The Lake Hawks received solid play in the middle from MaLik London who put up 20 points, 18 rebounds and five blocks. Anthony McDaniel scored 20 points, J’Ron Anderson chipped in 16 points and six assists and Terry Walker scored 14 points.

West Michigan built a 27-18 first quarter lead over Team Network and led 54-45 at halftime.
