FREMONT’S FAST START LEADS TO LAKES 8 GIRLS BASKETBALL WIN OVER ORCHARD VIEW

A quick start helped Fremont earn a 65-54 Lakes 8 Conference win over visiting Orchard View on Friday night.

The Packers jumped out to a 20-4 lead after one quarter and took a 31-21 lead into halftime.

Marissa Spickerman led the Packers with 19 points and Katie DeKryger added 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Hailey Lensky scored 10 points for Fremont and Claire Abendroth had 10 assists.

Precious Anderson led OV with 14 points, Jayshonna Blackshire scored 12 and Daejia Hill scored 10 points.
