Covenant’s Hannah Nagelkerk pitches perfect game against Western Michigan Christian

Grand Rapids Covenant Christian pitcher Hannah Nagelkerk pitched a four-inning perfect game on Thursday in the Chargers’ 18-0 softball victory over Western Michigan Christian.

She struck out eight batters.

Anna Sweetman allowed 11 earned runs and struck out four for WMC.

“We played a good team today in Covenant,” WMC coach Jeff Nestell said. “I was proud of how our girls hung in there with them for the first three innings.”
