The host Oakridge Eagles received two goals from Aliza Olsen and one from Ashley Weaver in a 3-0 soccer victory over North Muskegon on Monday night.

Weaver scored 23 minutes into the first half with an assist from Shelbe Wilde.

In the second half, Olsen won the ball near midfield and dribbled through several NM defenders en route to her first goal of the game.

“We did a good job eliminating goal-scoring chances by North Muskegon,” Oakridge coach Jeff Lohman said. “Our transition seemed to be quicker than North Muskegon, which helped us in the heat.”

Oakridge had a 10-2 advantage in shots.

Eagle goalkeeper Micky Wall did a solid job coming off her line to disrupte several through balls by North Muskegon. She had two saves.
