MUSKEGON — The Muskegon Clippers took a step towards first place when they beat league leading River City Rapids 8-5 on Monday. Muskegon is currently in second place.

Clipper lead off hitter and Muskegon Catholic grad Connor Seymour batted 4-for-4 with four runs scored. Seymour currently attends Aquinas.

Eric Jensen posted his first win of the season on the mound for Muskegon.

The Clippers next home game is Friday June 27th verses the Michigan Monarchs.
