Hart didn’t let a slow start ruin its trip to Shelby on Tuesday night.

The Pirates’ offense struggled early on, but stayed within 16-15 at the half. The second half was a different story as the Pirates came through with 18 points  in the third quarter. Turning up the defensive pressure didn’t hurt either.

Madison Hedegus led Hart with 12 points and Baylee Draper added 11 points and 13 rebounds. Yasmine Colon added eight points and six rebounds.

Shelby was led by Brooke James with 10 points and Rachel Herin added six points and eight rebounds.

Oakridge 61 Mason County Central 28 – The Eagles jumped out to a 20-3 lead and never looked back. Oakridge (15-3, 13-0) was led by Hannah Reinhold with 14 points. Dria Striker led the Spartans (4-12, 4-9) with eight points.

Ravenna 75, North Muskegon 74 (3OT)- The Bulldogs used solid free throw shooting down the stretch to hold off North Muskegon. Ravenna scored 20 fourth-quarter points to force overtime after trailing 36-31 after the third. Melissa McWaters led Ravenna with 27 points, Maddie Broten put in 21 points and had seven rebounds and Jessica McWaters had 14 points and three assists. North Muskegon was led by Oliva Duncan with 23 points and sister Mya Duncan with 19 points.
