The Mona Shores baseball team fought hard for nine innings Monday, but lost a tough 3-2 decision 
to Grand Rapids Northview in a non-league game.
Northview scored the winning run in the ninth with a leadoff double, a sacrifice bunt and a sacrifice fly.
Elijah Wilson had two hits for the Sailors while Sam Curran pitched a strong game in defeat.
Mona Shores is now 7-5 on the season.
