The Spring Lake girls soccer grabbed a two-game lead in the Lakes 8 Conference title chase Wednesday with a 3-2 overtime victory over Ludington.
The Lakers are now 5-0 in conference play while Ludington fell to 3-2. No other team in the conference has fewer than two losses.
Saebryn Peel had two goals for Spring Lake while Nora Adkins scored the winner in overtime. Emma Gordon had four saves in goal for the Lakers.
Ali Plamondon and Bethany Shay scored for Ludington.
