Spring Lake’s volleyball team bounced back nicely from an opening set loss to Muskegon Catholic Central on Tuesday, as the Lakers took the next three to finish off the Crusaders in a Lakes 8 Conference match, 23-25, 25-10, 25-19, 25-21.
Olivia Grimmer smacked down a match-high 17 kills for the Lakers. Setter Abby Moe had a solid all-around showing with 16 digs, 32 assists, eight aces and two blocks.
Lauren Helman contributed 10 kills and two aces, while Anna Denslow led Spring Lake (8-11-1 overall, 2-1 Lakes Eight) with 24 digs.
