The North Muskegon girls soccer team cruised past Montague 4-1 in a West Michigan Conference semifinal game on Monday.

LSJ Logo incertThe Norse will advance to the West Michigan Conference finals, where they will play the winner of Whitehall and Oakridge on Wednesday.

North Muskegon led at halftime 2-0.

The Norse were paced by Katie Roberson with a three-goal hat trick while Abby Grevel opened the scoring with a tally with 13 minutes left in the first half.

Grace Berends added two assists for North Muskegon, which held the Wildcats to six shots on net.

The Norse goalkeeper Gus Keur stopped five Montague shots.

The Wildcats lone goal was scored by Paige Swanson 10 minutes into the second half.
