The Western Michigan Christian volleyball team defeated Zion Christian in two sets before falling to Lansing Christian in a pair of sets on Thursday.
The Warriors are now 5-5-1 on the season with three of their losses coming from Lansing Christian.
“Every time we get closer, but we are one or two good plays away from changing the results, said WMC Coach Trent Smillie. “They (Lansing Christian) are a great team and a great measuring stick for us at this time in the season.”
Cassie Kingma led WMC with 18 digs, 11 kills and six aces while Jesse Eekhoff recorded five aces and six kills and Abby Summerfield had 13 digs.
