The Fruitport soccer team dropped a tough 5-0 decision to Rockford on Thursday in non-conference action.
The Trojans fell behind early, giving up four goals in the first 15 minutes, and never recovered. Fruitport played the game without the services of two senior defensemen.
Trojan goalie Connor Werschem stopped 16 shots on the day.
