The Western Michigan Christian volleyball squad closed out its Lakes 8 schedule with a win over Orchard View in four sets on Tuesday night.

LSJ Logo incertThe Warriors won the first set 25-9, lost the second by a service score of 25-20 and then cruised 25-16 and 25-12 in the final two sets of the match.

Aubrey Goorman paced WMC with 10 kills on the night, while Cassie Kingma added nine kills and 15 digs.

WMC’s Haylee Moser chipped in with six aces and 11 digs.

The Warriors are now 16-14-1 on the season and 4-1 in Lakes 8 play.

Orchard View was led by Shemya Gilmore with seven kills while Hali Reed chipped in with 14 assists.
