Hanna Evans sets scoring record, Whitehall cruises past Hart in WMC girls soccer action

Hanna Evans set a Whitehall school record in soccer, scoring her 71st goal of her career to lead the Vikings over Hart 9-1 on Monday in a West Michigan Conference game.

Evans scored two goals to break the record, while Lauren Baustert and Alex Fleener added two goal and two assists apiece for Whitehall.

Emma Thompson contributed with two goals for the Vikings and Kacy Jeffries had a goal.

Whitehall, which led 7-1 at halftime, is now 10-5 on the season and 6-1 in league play.

Kerrigan Semans stopped four shots for the Vikings in net.
