Pitcher Connor Schuitema threw a complete game shutout to lead the Fruitport baseball team to a 3-0 win over Spring 
Lake Tuesday in a Division 2 pre-district matchup.
Schuitema only allowed five hits and struck out one batter.
Brendan Peterman led the Trojans’ offense with three hits, while Logan Wadland and Schuitema added two hits each.
Fruitport will take on the host Allendale on Saturday in the district semifinals.
