The Muskegon Community College women’s soccer team dropped a tight game with Delta College on Wednesday. 
The Jayhawks fell 3-2 despite taking 11 shots to Delta’s seven.
Maddie Olsen and Emily Winicki each scored for MCC. Winicki added an assist as well.
MCC goalkeeper Jenna Jenke made four saves but also posted an assist on the Winicki goal with a long punt from her own penalty box.
The Jayhawks are now 1-2 this season and travel to Jackson Community College on Wednesday, September 5.
