The Muskegon Heights football team had a rough time on a road trip to Adrian on Friday, falling 64-6 to Lenawee Christian in a non-conference contest.

Lenawee Christian took control early, scoring 30 points in the first quarter and 22 in the second and taking a 52-6 lead into halftime.

The home team added 12 more points in the second half. Lenawee Christian outgained the Tigers 380-89 in total offense, with a huge 214-5 advantage in positive rushing yards.

Anthony Floyd let Muskegon Heights rushers with 28 yards. Jameson Chesser had 77 yards for the hosts.

Hanif Guyton caught a 77-yard pass for the Tigers. Leading the Muskegon Heights defense were David Wallace (7 tackles, 6 solo), Ashton Smith (6 tackles, 5 solo), Devin Cooper (5 tackles, 4 solo) and Deshawn Warren (5 tackles, 3 solo).

Muskegon Heights fell to 1-7 and will finish the season against Ravenna next Friday.
