Spring Lake tennis team beats Coopersville 7-1 for first conference victory of the season

The Spring Lake boys tennis team captured its first conference victory of the season on Wednesday, beating Coopersville 7-1 in O-K Blue action.

Winners for the Lakers were Eli Tosterud (No. 2 singles), Max Witehrell (No. 3 singles), AJ Dalman (No. 4 singles), Callum Saxe and Teddy Hylant (No. 1 doubles), Dawson Sherman and Ian Brown (No. 2 doubles), Sean Bennink and August Sherman (No. 3 doubles), and Cam Peppin and Kyle Powers (No. 4 doubles).

The Lakers won five of seven flights in straight sets.
