Muskegon Catholic Central competed in their first Lakes 8 conference matchup of the season and defeated Manistee.
The Crusaders won 25-16, 25-7 and 25-13, putting them at 1-0 in the conference and 10-8 overall.
Claire LaVigne led for the Crusaders with 11 aces, nine assists and 12 digs. Also contributing, Erin LaVigne had three aces and 11 kills, McKenna Gentry got three kills and Elaina LaGuire had three kills and three assists.
Cara Burkall had a block and Emma Maierhauser had four digs.
The Crusaders travel to Hesperia for a quad meet on Thursday.
