Fruitport Calvary Christian volleyball fell short in a five-game battle against Rivertown Crossing on Tuesday.

The Eagles captured the opening two games, 25-16 and 25-22, but fell short in the next three with scores of 25-16, 25-15 and 15-13.

Leading for Eagles was Kamea Sutherland with 15 digs, four kills and two aces, Liz Gutierrez had 15 digs and three aces and Anna Childerhose made 18 digs, five kills and posted two aces.

Also contributing for the Eagles was Ella Dykman with 11 kills and six blocks while Madison Hoofman made 22 assists.

Fruitport Calvary Christian is 2-25-2 for the season and 1-3 in the Alliance League.
