Fruitport wrestling went 1-1 at their home tri-meet against Reeths-Puffer and Muskegon on Wednesday.

The Trojans dropped their match against the Rockets with a score of 29-24 while they topped Muskegon 53-21.

Fruitport was led in its dual against Reeths-Puffer with wins from Roan Cooper (125), Tate Sims (140), Hunter Leonard (189) and Caleb O’Neal (215).

Balancing out the loss, the Trojans topped the Big Reds with multiple wrestlers winning in their weight class.

Leading Fruitport  and earning wins against Muskegon was Phillip Stone-Tyler (103), Kyle Holt (112 pounds), Roan Cooper (125), Nathan Beebe (135), Nash Cooper (145 pounds), Peyton DeHoog (160), Evan Ludlow (171), Caleb O’Neal (215) and Cody Leonard (285).

Fruitport will next travel to the Hart Invitational on Saturday.
