FRUITPORT–Senior Night was a rousing success for the Fruitport Calvary Christian boys basketball team on Thursday night. The Eagles cruised to a 72-33 victory over visiting Holland Black River.

Early in the second quarter, Calvary owned a 31-4 lead and never looked back in the Alliance League contest.

Our coaches are pleased with how our team performed on senior night,” Calvary head coach Brad Richards said. “It’s good to be playing your best basketball as you head into March.”

Bradley Richards posted a double-double with 24 points and 16 rebounds. Jacob May added 18 points and five assists. Kendon Sutherland also reached double figures with 10 points.

Fruitport Calvary Christian climbs to 14-5 and 4-3 in conference play. The Eagles will travel to Hart on Thursday, March 2 to conclude the regular season.
