REED CITY — The Holton Red Devils were plagued with poor shooting and turnovers on Friday in a 56-23 loss to Reed City.

The boys’ basketball game was played in the Reed City Holiday Tournament.

A quick start by the Coyotes gave them a 38-14 lead at the half.

Holton was led by Brodrick Fialek with nine points and seven rebounds. Carter Brant added seven points and Gavin Wheeler pulled down six rebounds.

Reed City did a nice job tonight,” Holton coach Keith Swanson said. “Turnovers and poor shooting did us in. Our guys played hard but we need to do a better job taking care of the ball.”
