MUSKEGON–The Reeths-Puffer Rocket softball team ran their record to 9-0 on Thursday after taking two victories over Grand Rapids Northview.

The Rockets won the opener, 13-0, and the nightcap, 9-4.

Megan Barnes had three hits, including a triple, double and single for the Rockets. Mady Snyder belted a home run and also had a double. Kaylee Jones, Kyleigh Bilek and Natalie Kunnen each had two singles.

The Rockets also were aggressive on the base paths with 11 stolen bases.

Snyder was the winner pitcher. She allowed four hits and one walk.

In the second game, Jones led the way with a triple and a single. Snyder had a triple.

The Rockets had five hits and benefitted from six walks.

Bilek and Laney McDaniel combined on the mound for the Rockets.
