COOPERSVILLE — Ludington’s volleyball team competed in the Coopersville Invite Friday with two wins, one loss and a split in another strong performance.
“The girls played really well,” said Orioles head coach Liz Holden. “We came out of pool play as the number one team after playing a really close game with Holland Christian.
“We ended up in the semifinals fighting just as closely for the win, but fell short the second time around. I saw some really great things, and I am very proud of how well they stepped up against a really tough team.”
