NORTON SHORES – The Western Michigan Christian girls’ basketball team shut down Wyoming Lee in a 59-7 Alliance League contest on Friday night.

Ashley Folkema led the way with a double-double of 17 points, 12 steals and four assists. Kate Derdowski threw in 10 points and four assists, while Kasy Folkema scored nine points. Emersyn Paling added seven points.

WMC (12-4, 5-0) will travel to Wyoming Tri-Unity Christian on Tuesday for more league action.
