GRANDVILLE – The Grand Haven football team was stunned by Grandville, 56-13, in an OK-Red matchup on Friday night.

The first half was a nightmare for the Bucs, who fell behind 42-13 by halftime.

Sophomore Andrew Willemsen led the Bucs’ production with 24 carries on the ground for 142 yards and a touchdown. Xzavier Rodriguez scored a rushing touchdown, while quarterback Luke Berry was 9-for-18 for 104 yards. Alex Dixon had four catches for 60 yards and Will Korenstra caught three passes for 37 yards.

Connor VanBeek had four tackles, including one for a loss, and Carson Tithof recorded four tackles.

Grand Haven (2-3, 1-2) will travel to Hudsonville on Friday for league play.
