It was a West Michigan Conference Lakes Division matchup, and was the second straight win for the Orioles after a loss to two-time defending league champion Whitehall.
The Wildcats enjoyed a five-point lead, 16-11 after one, but the Orioles exploded for a 24-4 second quarter and took a 35-20 halftime lead.
Ludington had four players in double figures, led by Taj Williams with a game-high 26 points. Cam Gunsell added 15, Brody Kaminski 12 and Zac Graham 11.
For the Wildcats, Code Herremans and Courtland Schneider led the way with nine points each.
The Orioles knocked down 12 3-pointers on the night. Kaminski had four while Williams and Graham each had three.
Ludington improved to 4-2 overall and 3-1 in the WMC Lakes, a half-game behind Whitehall. The Orioles play Spring Lake in the Lake Michigan Cup at Grand Haven next Friday.
Manistee fell to 1-6 overall and 0-3 in the WMC Lakes. The Mariners host Shelby on Saturday.
