HOLLAND – The Spring Lake boys swim and dive team swam to 17 new personal records and five new Division 3 state cuts at the MISCA Meet on Saturday.
“We saw some of the best in the state from all three Divisions battling it out,” said Spring Lake coach Michael Homan. “We showed why we belong among the best in the state. The team swam with a lot of grit and determination today.”
Noah Fletcher tied for third place in the 50 free (21.61) and finished seventh in the 100 free (48.21). Alex Strauss, Fletcher, Graham Porter and Ryan Fisher finished fourth in the 200 free relay (1:29.32).
Fisher, Porter and Fletcher came in ninth place in the 400 free relay (3:20.23).
Spring Lake will host an OK Lakeshore Conference dual meet on Tuesday.
