Ludington swimmers faring well at MHSAA Division 3 state finals

 

YPSILANTI – The Ludington Oriole swimmers competed in Friday’s preliminary rounds for the MHSAA Division 3 state finals.

 

The 200-medley relay team of Jaden Vronko, Ian Lundberg, Dylan Sniegowski and Gavin Smith placed 11th with a season-best time of 1:43.13. They will swim Saturday in the finals.

 

The 400-freestyle relay team of Dylan Sniegowski, Ian Lundberg, Gavin Smith and Grady Sailor swam a season best time of 3:26.88 and placed 14th and qualified to swim in the finals on Saturday. 

 

In the 50 freestyle, Gavin Smith placed 36th with a time of 23.41.

 

In the 100 butterfly, Dylan Sniegowski placed 18th with a time of 56.19

 

In the 100 backstroke, Jaden Vronko swam a personal best time of 57.59 and placed 19th

 

The 200-freestyle relay team of Dylan Sniegowski, Ian Lundberg, Grady Sailor and Gavin Smith placed 19th with a time of 1:33.52

 

Diver Sawyer Bishop is in 13th place with a score of 216.40 after eight rounds and moves on to Saturday’s finals.
