SHELBY – The Shelby baseball team took both games of a twin bill against Mason County Eastern on Friday.

The Tigers won 15-0 and 12-2.

Eli Kelley gave up just one hit and struck out 10 batters in the opening game for the Tigers.

Chase Simon led the offense with two hits and four RBI, while Evan Waller and Kelley each added two hits and three RBI. Garrin Waller collected a pair of hits.

In the nightcap, Cam Smith pitched a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts.

Garrin had three hits and three RBI at the plate. Dayday Garcia chipped in two hits and Evan scored a two-run RBI single.

Shelby hosts North Muskegon on Tuesday.

Mason County Eastern will be at home on Wednesday against Pine River.
