Grand Haven volleyball team rallies to defeat Jenison in four sets in O-K Red conference action

Mackenzie Gross pounded 18 kills to lead the Grand Haven volleyball team past Jenison 3-1 on Thursday in O-K Red conference action.

Jenison won the first set 25-19, but the Buccaneers rallied to win three consecutive sets 25-16, 25-17, 25-17.

Samantha Boeve had 39 assists for Grand Haven. Defensively, Ashlyn Pahl had three blocked shots while Hallie Rittel had 25 digs, followed by Mia Swierbut with 18.

Grand Haven is now 17-13 overall.
