ZEELAND –The Mona Shores boys basketball team fell to Zeeland East on Friday in OK Conference-Green action, 65-52.
The Sailors and the Chix ended up in a 13-all tie after the first quarter.
The second quarter was a struggle for Mona Shores as they were outscored 18-8 and went into the half trailing, 31-21.
The Sailors were outscored 34-31 in the second half.
JT Foster led Mona Shores with 12 points. In his first start, Daryl Robinson finished with 10 points and nine rebounds.
Jordan Bledsoe chipped in 10 points and three assists while Mason Hallett added nine points, six rebounds and four steals.
Mona Shores (4-7, 1-4) will host Reeths-Puffer on Tuesday evening.
