Whitehall swept a West Michigan Conference doubleheader from Hart on Tuesday, winning the opener 10-0 and the nightcap 11-1.

In the opener, Zach Zweigle was 3-for-4 with two RBI and Ray Copley had a two-run single.

Zweigle was the winning pitcher, allowing four hits and fanning 10.

Daniel DuBois and Noah Robart both had two hits and knocked in two runs each for the Vikings in Game 2.

Ian Zweigle had two hits for Whitehall in the second game and Cheston Manns fanned six and allowed two hits to earn the pitching win.

“We got great pitching performances today from Zach Zweigle and Cheston Manns. Those two have really established themselves as our top two pitchers,” Whitehall coach Warren Zweigle said.

“After moving a few players to new positions, we are starting to play much better defense. I think we’re starting to get it figured out.”
