The Grant Tigers girls basketball team used a great defensive performance and a strong second half on Tuesday night as they defeated Ravenna 46-28.
The Tigers had a slim 16-14 lead at the half before pulling away in the third quarter with a 17-6 run, which gave them a 33-20 after the third.
The Tigers defense did not allow more than nine points in a single quarter.
Laura Bouwkamp and Dayna Wood led the Tigers with 12 points each. Samantha Slachter added seven points.
