The Ludington and Whitehall boy’s tennis teams qualified for the state finals after finishing among the top three teams Thursday at the Division 4 regional tournament at Traverse City St. Francis High School.
For Ludington, Nolan Meeker was the runner-up in No. 2 singles, Gage Lubahn was second in No. 3 singles and Trent Meeker was second in No. 4 singles.
Andy Esh finished runner-up in No. 1 singles for Whitehall.
In doubles play, Whitehall had Eric Butzer and Alec Milliron finish second at No. 1 while Jon Aue and Dominick Brock finished second at No. 4.
The Ludington team of Alec Johnson and Kaedin Plummer finished second at No. 3 doubles.
Ludington and Whitehall will both travel to Kalamazoo College for the state finals on Oct 16 and 17.
