Nate McLouth, a Whitehall native, knocked in two runs with a third-inning single on Sunday night.
McLouth and his Baltimore Oriole teammates dropped a 7-2 decision to the New York Yankees in Game 1 of the American League Division series.
McLouth finished 1-4.
Trailing 1-0 in the third, the Orioles took the lead when McLouth lined a single to right past the outstretched glove of Yankee second baseman Robinson Cano.
The Yankees tied the game at 2-all then broke the game open with five runs in the top of the ninth.
