Muskegon Community College men’s soccer team ranked 17th in national poll

The Muskegon Community College men’s soccer team has moved into the national rankings.

Coach Ben Ritsema’s Jayhawks are ranked 17th in the nation among community colleges.

The recent National Soccer Coaches Association of America poll placed the Jayhawks in the top 20 for the first time. The program is in its second season as a school-sponsored sport.

The Jayhawks won the Lakeview Invitational this past weekend and improved to 8-1 on the season. Previously, the Jayhawks defeated nationally ranked Cincinnati State Tech and Community College.
