Whitehall captured the West Michigan Conference softball title outright with a 6-5 Game-1 win and a convincing 10-4 win in the nightcap over Oakridge. The WMC softball title is the fourth in the last six years for the Vikings (19-13, 11-3).

Trailing 5-2 in the bottom of the seventh of Game 1, Whitehall rallied four runs off five consecutive hits to walk off with the win.

Megan Stout, Janelle Uganski, and Alyssa Myers had two hits apiece for the Vikings.

Stout also came on in relief for Whitehall and posted the victory.

Morgan Giddings and Sierra Hanchera each had two hits for the Eagles.

Stout continued to give Oakridge fits in Game 2, posting the win on the mound and getting three RBI at the plate.

Bailey Seeger had three hits and two RBI to lead the Vikings. Christy Pladies tallied three hits and Emily MacArthur had two hits for Whitehall.

Giddings and Hanchera led Oakridge with two hits each.
