Holton takes title at own invite

HOLTON – The Holton Red Devils went undefeated Saturday, going 14-0 on the day to win the Holton Invite.

Holton ran the table in pool play, earning the squad the top seed in the semifinals. Once there, the Red Devils dispatched the fourth-seed Newaygo Lions 25-14, 25-16, while the third seed, Western Michigan Christian, downed second-seed Oakridge 25-21, 25-23.

In the finals, Holton topped WMC 27-25, 25-19.
